Software Developers (C++ and Java) (m/f)

for permanent employment.

Your Responsibilities:

• You contribute to the development and maintenance of a client-server application within a business-critical environment for a large German telecommunications provider
• You are responsible for analyzing new challenges and designing solution concepts as well as implementing them in mainly C++
• You support our team in architectural designs and in improving software code (refactoring) based on modern technologies
• You work in a team with direct customer contact

Your Profile:
In addition to good academics in computer science or in an equivalent area of study, you are experienced in designing and implementing software solutions. You have expert knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and Java. Your expertise lies in the following areas:

• Use of methods and techniques of software engineering such as process and data modeling (OOA/OOD and UML)
• Domain-specific modeling and code generation
• Software architecture
• Relational database systems (preferably Oracle) 
• Implementation of solution concepts in consultation with customers

In addition we expect:

• Commitment, team orientation, and the ability to work independently
• Strong ability to think and act conceptually and analytically
• Strong communication skills as well as a professional and customer-oriented attitude
• Good command of both written and spoken German
